1–1½ lbs chicken breasts
1 onion, diced
3 carrots, sliced
2 celery stalks, sliced
3–4 garlic cloves
½ tsp dried thyme
½ tsp dried rosemary
½ tsp kosher salt
¼ tsp black pepper
1 bay leaf
2 tsp chicken bouillon base
8–9 cups chicken broth
8 oz egg noodles
Fresh parsley
Salt and pepper
1. Add chicken and all vegetables to slow cooker.
2. Add seasonings, bouillon, and broth; stir.
3. Cook on LOW 6–8 hours or HIGH 3–4 hours.
4. Shred chicken and remove bay leaf.
5. Add egg noodles; cook 10–15 minutes.
6. Return chicken; adjust seasoning.
7. Serve warm with parsley.
Store for up to 4 days.
Boil noodles separately for firmer texture.
